184749 nicknaylo@a... 2008‑11‑17 Bio Update...
This bio update is harder than expected. On the Porch since 2000,
my,then toddler, daughter is now a fourth grader who wields a
meanspokeshave and rolls her eyes at Norm.

Still dividing shop time between woodworking and blacksmithing.
Alongwith toy making, I=E2=80=99ve been working on lots of projects out
of thinwood, half inch stock (boxes, toys), quarter inch pine resawed
andplaned down (Shaker lap desk) down to about a sixteenth (almost
donewith a dulcimer from a 2x4), so I find myself looking at three
quarterstock as rough sawn lumber. Not sure why this thin stock
situation hascome about but it does give the planes, ripsaw and frame
resaw a lot ofuse. Still searching for a toothing plane. The shop is
constantly beingrearranged and reorganized, sometimes to my detriment as
I losesomething that had hung on nail for years, only to be placed in a
moreappropriate location that I*ve since forgotten. The blacksmithing
corner of the patio is starting to mess with themagnetic field in my
area, something I was never able to accomplishwith planes and saws and I
get out to frighten the neighbors a coupletimes a month, making hooks,
leaves and fireplace tools and trying notto burn myself too much.

Michael-Richmond, CA Nicknaylo on the list.
