It does have great gizmos, I have a complete one that I stumbled upon 25 years
ago, and before I knew what it was,I bought. Couldn’t believe the low price, now
I know. For want of another project, made a quick fitted box for it. A pigs ear
in a silk pouch. There’s a complete one flea bay at $9.99 with two days to go
and no watchers. And I’ll be waiting a long time to buy fiberboard.

Yes, great ID! Thanks! The old Stanley Fibre Board Cutter Groove and Bevel
Cutter Holder for Re-Sharpening Type Blades. Why didn't I think of that??
From the original estate sale photo, it appears to be sitting on the bed of a
(heavily used) miter box. I think I overestimated the size of the thing, seeing
it as closer to a Stanley #80 two-handed scraper, for example.
Anyway, pretty nifty in terms of gizmocity, if not actual utility, these days.
Anybody need to re-sharpen their groove and bevel type blade?
Take care, all of you,
