I'm proud to say there has been a new development in regard to the Workmate
while you were away. A couple of years ago I began seriously researching and
documenting the early Black & Decker Workmates and the result is a
comprehensive web site about them. You'll find it at:
https://h-frame.weebly.com/

The site consists of almost 50 web pages plus over 80 downloadable historic
documents pertaining to the Workmate from 1974-1982. I just recently added
some pages about the early UK models which are quite different from our
North American ones.

I have a few pages about replacement parts and repair that might be useful
to you, but that section is fairly limited at this point.

I have a half-dozen Lie-Nielsen planes dating back to the 90's, and it sure
seems as though it's time for someone to do a similar documentation job on
them.

Subject: [oldtools] Reintroduction and hello

[snipped]

To get my feet wet I'm staring out by reviving my interest in making my
several Original cast wishbone Workmates fully functional again, and in
catching up with my interest in Lie-Nielsen planes/tools.

I was an early L-N user and have a number of early and apparently now
defunct models of these tools and would welcome input, and perhaps links to
sites for these tools (Workmate and L-N.)
