Howdy.  This winter sure showed up with a vengeance this month. Flea
runs have been 25% of what they usually are during the winter months,
but the few that I've been on have been productive and the shop piles
keep producing so there are a lot of good fresh items this time around.

PayPal is preferred (if you use it) on all items. It's easier for me to

ship items off of a paid PayPal invoice, especially First Class ones.

Checks and money orders are still welcome.

And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!

First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Prices do not include shipping.  All items are shipped with Delivery
Confirmation. Insurance, unless it is a big order or a very fragile item
is optional. Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via
First Class mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping
cover the cost of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Please put your name and address in the message. Saves time and email
traffic!

Stanley SW 1/4 Inch Everlasting Chisel.  Measuring 3 11/16" from the
edge to the start of the ferrule, the blade is 2 13/16" long, this is 7
3/4" overall, and this weighs 5 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  The back has a few dots of pitting and some
scuff marks.  Somebody got kinda creative the last time that this was
sharpened and the edge is rounded.  The top is scuffed down a bit and
there is some staining on the sides.  The ferrule has some overall
frosting and some pitting down by the handle, but it's solid with no
cracks.  The handle has some stains, but it's solid and the striking
button is just about pristine, which you don't see too often with these
guys.  This ain't minty, but it will get the job done.  $23.00

Lakeside 8 Inch Wing Compass Or Divider.  Measuring 8 1/4" long and this
weighs 5 1/4 oz unboxed.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
There is some overall light frosting and pitting.  The joint and tips
are good.  The locking screw and the fine adjustment nut both work.
This ain't minty, but it will get the job done. $17.00

Early Hand Forged Bark Barking Spud.  Measuring 25 3/8" overall, the
iron area is 8 3/8" long, the head is 2 7/8" wide, and this weighs 2 lbs
4 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall light pitting on the
iron.  The edge has some light dings, but is fairly good.  The forge
weld line for the socket is visible, but it's solid.  The handle is home
grown.  That has some long and deep checks, and some long gone worm
holes, but it's solid enough to use, as long as you don't hit it with a
sledge hammer.  The handle is loose in the socket, but it is pinned in
there.  Pretty and perfect moved out of town on this guy a while back,
but these guys sure ain't getting any easier to come by, at least around
these here parts.  $40.00

H Disston & Sons No 4 12 Inch Back Saw or Backsaw.  Measuring 16 7/8"
overall, the blade is 12 1/16" long, 2 15/16" high (from the edge to the
start of the back), this is sharpened to 14 PT (13 TPI) CC, and this
weighs 1 lb 7 3/4 oz unboxed.  Based on the medallion, this was made by
Disston between 1947 and 1953.  This is in reasonably good condition and
was cleaned.  The front of the blade is good save for some frosting.
The etch is faint, but readable. The back of the blade has some spots of
light pitting and also some on the steel back.  All the teeth are
present and the edge is straight, but this will need a sharpening.  The
tote has some dings, stains, and a few tiny bits of paint, but it
retains most of the original finish plus a coat of wax.  The nuts are
brass plated steel, but the plating was pretty much gone.  This ain't
pristine, but it is a solid tool that will get the job done.  $48.00

Stanley No 60 1/2 Adjustable Throat Low Angle Block Plane.  This weighs
1 lb 3 oz unboxed.  This is in decent condition, it was cleaned and
refinished.  The sides have some frosting, light scratches, and tiny
dings.  The sole has some deeper scratches, frosting, and some more
dings.  The mouth is good with no cracks, and the mouth adjuster works.
The lever is a replacement.  The japanning was a mess on both the body
and the cap, so that's why it was repainted.  The cap is good.  The
blade has some light patina on the exposed areas.  The cutting face has
some scuffs and a couple of dots, but nothing too bad.  The blade will
need a sharpening.  All the screws work and were oiled.  This ain't
minty fresh, but it will get the job done.  $42.00

Small Planishing Hammer For Light Metal Work.  Measuring 8" overall, the
head is 4" long, the faces are 1/2" high, 5/8" wide, and this weighs 7
oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The head has some light patina and scuffs
left over from when it was made.  Both faces are very slightly convex.
The one face is good, the other one has a ding on the one side and some
very light pitting.  The eye is good. The handle was somebody else's
idea of a good time, but it will get the job done.  This ain't minty,
but it will get the job done. $22.00

unboxed.  This is in reasonably good condition and was not cleaned.
There is a little bit of light patina on the head but nothing too bad.
The head works smoothly.  The rods are also all good and all are
present.  The case has some light wear but the hinges and catches are
good.  This ain't perfect but it is a quality set that will get the job
done.  $60.00

head is 2 7/8" long, the face and peen are 13/16" in diameter, and this
weighs 10 1/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker. This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  The head has some light patina, but nothing
too bad.  The face has some dings and I did clean some mushrooming off
of the edge.  The peen also has some dings.  The handle has some stains
and is slightly warped looking from the side, but it's solid.  This
ain't minty, but will get the job done.  $14.00

Giller No 305 4 Inch Slip Joint Ignition Pliers.  Measuring 4 7/16" long
and this weighs 1 1/4 oz unboxed.  This is in good condition and was not
cleaned.  I really don't think that it was used much, if at all.  There
is a wee bit of funky on the one side of the head. The jaws are good and
the slip joint works just dandy.  This is a neat little tool and they
sure don't get much better than this. $15.00

oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker, but few of these were.  This is
in decent condition and was cleaned.  The blade has a few spots of light
pitting and rust etching, but nothing too bad overall and it still has
some of the original finish.  The edges are good, but the lower corner
is worn a little.  The handle has some dings, stains, and a user initial
marked on the back.  The fancy head screw works.  This ain't perfect,
but it will get the job done.  $18.00

across the sweep, the sweep is a No. 11, this is 9 1/8" overall, and
this weighs 2 1/4 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker but it looks
like one that was sold by Sculpture Associates. This is in reasonably
good condition and was cleaned. The inside of the sweep is good. The
back has some spots and scuffs but that was never finished off real
pretty to start with. The handle has a couple of stains but it's solid
and has the original finish. This ain't got a fancy name but it will get
the job done.  $15.00

H Reid Patent 1882 No 1 Lightning Brace Screwdriver.  Measuring 18 1/4"
long and this weighs 1 lb 6 1/2 oz unboxed.  Alban H. Reid of
Philadelphia, PA  was granted Pat. No. 268,938 on Dec. 12, 1882 for the
design of this tool.  This is in reasonably good condition and was
cleaned.  There is some wear to the plating on the shaft, but it's about
50% present overall.  The lower grip has some funky and a chip off of
the one side, but it's solid.  The Booth screwdriver bit is original to
the tool.  That has some scuffs, but the tip is good and the screw
works.  The shaft extends completely and smoothly. The Lignum Vitae pad
has a few tiny dots of paint on the top that didn't want to come off and
some light funky on the underside, but both are solid with no cracks.
This ain't minty, but these guys rarely are and this one is better than
most of these that I have been seeing lately.  $25.00

also has a few dots of paint, some small spots where the finish is worn,
and some light dings on the sides, but overall nothing too bad.  The
locking screw is good.  This ain't pristine, but these guys sure don't
show up very often and this one will get the job done.  $22.00

cleaned.  The back has some frosting and a few spots of very light
pitting, but nothing too bad.  The top also has some patina.  The socket
is good, I did take a wee bit of mushrooming off of the end.  The handle
is a replacement.  That has some stains and dings, but it's solid.  This
ain't minty, but it is a quality tool that will get the job done.  $17.00

patina, other than some light scuffs, a few stains, and a user name
lightly marked on the one leg.  The joint and tips are good and the nut
travels the full distance smoothly.  NOTE: This does not have the quick
set nut, but not all of these did.  This ain't pristine, but it will get

1/8" wide, and this weighs 1 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good
condition, it was cleaned and the handle refinished.  The tip has a
little wear and was dressed at some point.  There is some light patina
on the shaft.  The original finish on the handle was pretty much gone,
so that's why it was redone.  That ain't perfect, but it's better than

unboxed.  Made in Merry Olde England.  This is in good condition and was
lightly cleaned.  The sides still have the factory finish which has a
few light scratches.  I did remove the finish from the sole along with a
bunch of white paint and that is good to go.  The finish is original and
is perfect other than a couple of tiny dings.  The cap is good.  The
blade also had the finish removed from the front and is clean on the
working area.  The plastic tote and knob are good other than a few very
light dings.  All the screws work.  This ain't the best plane that
Stanley ever made, but it will get the job done.  $23.00

than some dings and user pin punched initials on the sides.  The face
has some light pitting and dings, but nothing too bad.  The same for the
peen.  The eye is good to go.  This ain't pristine, but it will get the

this weighs 13 oz unboxed.  Horn & Ellis were Philadelphia PA makers of
leather and cobblers tools, they are listed as working from 1870 until
1871, but probably worked longer. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned.  There is some pitting on the head.  The teeth also have some
spots of light pitting, but the edges feel okay.  They will need a quick
touch-up though.  The head pivot works.  The shaft has some deeper spots
of pitting.  The handle is original to the tool.  That has some thin
checks under the ferrule and the usual stains and dings, but it's solid
enough and on tight.  Pretty and perfect moved out of town on this guy a

weighs 1 lb 7 3/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker, but this is a
forged head.  There is some overall light patina, including some scuff
marks on both sides of the eye, that are either from a previous cleaning
or left over from when this was made.  The face has some light dings and
there is a visible forge weld line around the side where the steel meets
the body, but it's not cracked.  The peen also has a few dings.  The eye

The back of the head has some light pitting and patina.  The edge is
chipped on both sides, the one being deeper. The inside of the head was
never finished off real pretty like to start with.  The handle has some
light patina and there is a noticeable bend looking from the side.  I
put it in the vise and gave it a couple of pulls, but it's going to take
some heat to get it straight.  The striking has some dings, but nothing
too bad. This ain't minty, but it ain't like these guys show up every

from the edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 3 7/8" long, this
is 9 3/4" overall, on the right is a 1/4" gouge measuring 6 5/16" from

across the inside of the sweep, 5/16" across the outside, this is 10
15/16" overall, and they weigh 5 oz unboxed.  The American Edge Tool
Company worked in or around the Philadelphia PA area, from the late
1940's until the early 1960's. These are NOS (that's New Old Stock), but
they weren't stored some place nice and I did some light cleaning on
them.  The chisel has a little staining, but nothing serious patina
wise.  The gouge is clean on both sides of the sweep.  The handle on the
chisel is good.  The handle on the gouge has a thin check under the
ferrule and another one down along the side.  These ain't perfect, but
they will get the job done.  $25.00

Early 12 Inch Adjustable Bevel Square.  The blade is 11 15/16" long, the
handle is 6 3/4" high, and this weighs 5 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as
to the maker, from the style of the handle (2 pieces of wood with a
brass insert at the end), my guess is that this is mid 1800's English or
American.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  There are some
light spots of pitting on the flat area of the blade and some more along
the slot.  The edges and corners are good.  The rosewood handle has some
wear on the edges and some light dings, but it's solid.  The locking
screw works.  This ain't pristine, but it's a well made tool that will
get the job done. $18.00

Wooden Spar Or Mast Shave Plane.  Measuring 10" long, the iron is 1
5/16" wide across the edge, this is 1 7/8" wide across the top, 2 1/4"
high, and this weighs 1 lb 4 1/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the
maker, other than some initials marked on the top.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  I'm not sure what kind of wood this is, it's
light colored inside the mouth, but it doesn't look like beech.  There
are some dings, stains, and punch marks on the body.  The sole has some
scratches and wear.  The mouth looks like it was opened a little and
there is a little chipping on the sides. The wedge has a grain check
along the one side, but it holds.  The Newbould iron does have some
pitting on the face and there is a little chipping on the edge.  I did
run a file over some sharp mushrooming on the back of the top.  This
ain't minty, but then working tools rarely are.  $22.00

granted Pat. No. 769,325 on Sept. 6, 1904 for the design of this tool
which was made by Stanley from 1904 to 1909. This is in decent condition
and was cleaned.  The blade has some spots of pitting and frosting.  The
edges and corner are good.  The handle has some dings and wear, but it's
solid.  The locking screw does it's job.  This ain't minty, but then not
too many tools of this are.  $19.00

Wood Cased Sharpening Stone.  The stone is 6" long, 1 15/16" wide, 3/4"
thick at the one end, 7/8" at the other end, the case is 7 7/8" long, 2
11/16" wide, 1 1/2" high, and this weighs 1 lb 3/4 oz unboxed.  Not
signed as to the maker.  The stone is a man made double sided one and
the case is pine.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The
stone has some wear looking from the side on the medium face, but is
fairly straight looking from the ends.  The fine side has a very slight
dip (like 1/32" or so) in the center, but is reasonably good.  The case
was made from two blocks of pine. That has some stains on the outside
and some slurry residue on the inside, but it's solid.  This ain't
minty, but it will get the job done.  $20.00

Vintage 7 oz Ball Peen Hammer.  Measuring 10 1/4" overall, the head is
3" long, the face is 5/8" in diameter, the peen is 5/8" in diameter, and
this weighs 7 oz total unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in
decent condition and was cleaned.  There is a little frosting and patina
on the head, including some dings on the sides of the eye.  The peen is
fairly good save for a little flattening of the tip.  The face has some
light dings and a wee bit of mushrooming around the edge.  The handle is
old and is probably the original one.  That has some dings under the
eye, some overall staining, and a little chipping at the end, but it's
solid enough to use as long as you don't try to pound framing nails with
this guy. This ain't minty, but it's a neat older hammer that will get
the job done.  $16.00

condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall patina including some
pitting, and some dings and cut marks on the sides. The face has some
light pitting and a couple of small chips on the sides.  The punched eye
is good other than than being extended for some reason at the back on
the underside.  This ain't pretty or perfect, but it's an older tool

including some dings on the sides.  The face has some dings, wear, and
there is a ring of mushrooming around the edge.  I did run a file over
some sharp spots, but there are few tiny checks in there.  The peen is
good.  The punched eye is good and the fact that it's notched and
beveled at the front is what makes me believe that this was originally a

light pitting with a slightly deeper bit at the one end, but nothing
that can't be dressed out.  The spike is short, but that's how this was
made.  This ain't pristine, but for a tool of this age it sure ain't bad

condition for the age and was not cleaned.  The brass is good and the
wheel spins freely.  The rosewood handle has a check on the one side and

light pitting and overall patina.  The jaws are good, although the edge
could stand a touch up.  The joint is also good with no play.  The one
handle does have a repair to it, but it's solid.  I gotta say, that hand

the outside of the sweep, this is 12 1/2" overall, and this weighs 5 3/4
oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker, but it does look to be 18th or
early 19th Century as to the age.  This is in decent condition and was
cleaned.  The inside of the sweep has some very light pitting.  The back
has some voids left over from when this was made.  There is a forge weld
line where the head meets the shaft, but this isn't cracked.  The oak
handle looks to be original to the tool.  That does have a check on the
back and a few smaller spots where the grain has opened up, but it feels
solid enough. This ain't pristine, but tools of this age with the
original handle are sure few and far between of late.  $20.00

There are a few spots on the body where the plating is worn, but almost
all of it is present.  The screw threads and notch that serves to hold

pitting.  The face has some dots of light pitting and the edge will need
some work.  The hammer poll has a whisker of mushrooming, but overall
that is good.  I did run a file over some mushrooming at the top of the
eye, that ain't perfect, but it's better than it was.  The eye is
otherwise good with no cracks that I can see.  This ain't minty, but

long (fully extended), 14 15/16" when closed, and this weighs 14 1/2 oz
unboxed.  George O. Leopold and Thomas J. Fegley of Philadelphia, PA
were granted Pat. No. 1,661,935 on March 6, 1928 for the design of this
tool.  This one is marked Pat. Pending so it was made prior to that.
This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  The head has some
frosting, but nothing too bad patina wise.  The chuck works, although
the threads could stand a little oil.  The shaft and tang have some
light staining, but have most of the plating.  This ain't pristine, but
it's a quality tool that will get the job done.  $20.00

the top of the handle, the blade is 4 1/4" long, this is 10 5/8"
overall, and this weighs 12 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.
This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The back is fairly good
other than some spots and dots.  The top has some pitting and scuffs
left over from when this was made.  The handle has some checks at the
end and probably would benefit from a bang ring.  This ain't pristine,
but it's a solid older tool that will get the job done.  $18.00

and the mouth is factory tight.  The iron is clean on the cutting face,
but will need a touch up on the edge.  The wedge is also good.  These

are in used, but reasonably good condition, and were cleaned.  The
blades have some light scuffs and the tip of the parting tool is a
little discolored.  Both edges will need a touch-up.  Both handles have
some dings, but have almost all of the original finish, plus a coat of
wax.  These ain't pristine, but they will get the job done at half the
price of what new ones cost.  Look it up.  $55.00

the head is 2 1/4" long, 1 1/4" wide at the area closest to the handle,
and this weighs 3 oz unboxed.  This is signed, bit I can't read it.
This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The head has some light
pitting and frosting.  The one notch has a little wear at the end and
the others are all good, save for a little crusty inside.  The handle
has a burned spot at the top, a couple of checks on the sides, and an
assortment of dings and stains.  The head is in tight.  This ain't
pretty or perfect, but these guys rarely are and this one will get the
job done.  $17.00

Not signed as to the maker, just marked Made In England on the paper
label.  This is in good condition and was lightly cleaned.  I took some
light rust off of the front of the blade with some fine steel wool.
There are a few small spots where the bluing is worn.  The back of the
blade is good.  All the corners and edges are crispy, including the
handle.  The finish on the handle is also perfect.  This is a good
looking tool that will get the job done. $18.00

decent condition and was cleaned.  The beam has some wear under the
point and some dings from the screw on the top.  There are some tiny
bits of paint down in the grain that didn't want to come off and a user
name marked on the back.  The point is an old nail, but it does the
job.  The head also has some wear, but it's solid and the boxwood screw
is good and does the job.  This ain't the prettiest, but it's an older
tool that will get the job done. $17.00

Blacksmith & Hammers

Two Hand Forged Blacksmith Tongs TO RESTORE.  The one on the left is 11
5/8" long, the jaws are 1 1/4" deep, 1" wide at the tips, the one on the
right is 11 3/4" long, the jaws are 2 3/4" deep, 5/8" wide at the tips,
and they weigh 2 lbs 1 1/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.
These are in TO RESTORE condition and were cleaned.  The one on the left
has some small checks around the jaws.  The joint has lots of wiggle,
but the rivet is solid.  The forge weld where the one handle meets the
jaw below the joint is starting to open a little and the one handle has
some roughness and chipping on the end.  The jaws on the one on the left
are fairly good and joint has just a little play.  The forge weld at the
center of the one handle is starting to open up.  These sure ain't
pretty or perfect and they will need some work, but that will take less
time than making new ones.  $32.00

the jaws are 1 1/8" deep, 5/16" wide at the tips, and this weighs 2 lbs
6 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is the usual patina found on these
guys.  The jaws are good and are slightly hollowed across the centers.
The joint has some play and the rivet could stand a little "adjusting".
The handles are good to go.  This ain't minty, but this sure ain't the
most common pair of tongs that I have come across.  $22.00

1/2 oz unboxed.  Marked with a M and either a 76 or 78. This is New Old
Stock that got left out in the rain and was cleaned.  The sides have
some frosting, but nothing too bad patina wise.  The face and peen are
also have some light patina.  The eye is ready to drop on a handle.

Blacksmith Hand Forged Hammer Eye Drift Punch Head.  Measuring 7 1/2"
long, the tip is roughly 11/16" high, 5/16" wide, and this weighs 1 lb
15 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall pitting and patina.  I
did run a file over some mushrooming on the tip, but it is flared a
little and could stand some more dressing.  The punch has a very slight
bend to one side.  There is a visible forge weld line where the punch
meets the body, but this ain't cracked.  The striking end has some
mushrooming and a couple of shallow checks, but nothing too bad.  The
punched eye has a ding or cut mark on the underside at the rear, but
it's not cracked.  This sure ain't perfect, but it ain't like these guys
show up every day and with a little work it will get the job done.  $24.00

but nothing too bad.  There are a few spots of light pitting and some
scuffs left over from when this was made.  Both edges are good and were
dressed recently.  The punched eye is good to go. This ain't minty, but
it sure ain't bad and it will get the job done.  $18.00

Crescent Tool 4 Inch Adjustable Wrench.  This weighs 1 3/4 oz unboxed.
This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  There are some dings and
wear.  The jaws have some tiny dings on the edges, but the faces are
good and the adjuster travels the full distance. The handle also has
some tiny dings.  T'was the tool of a working man.  This ain't perfect,

W & C Wynn No 4 Cobblers Lasting Pliers.  Measuring 8 5/16" long, the
jaws are 1/2" wide, and this weighs 11 1/2 oz unboxed. The W & C Wynn
Company was a long time Birmingham England maker of leather and other
tools who merged with R Timmins & Son in 1887, so this was made before
that.    This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  There is some
pitting and patina, some of it light, some of it not so light.  The jaws
have a little wear and some rust down in the grooves, but there is
plenty there to work with.  The hammer face has a little mushrooming as
does the top of the upper jaw.  The "through the center" joint has a
little crusty inside and a wee bit of wiggle.  The handles are good save
for the patina.  This ain't pristine, but seeing as it's, at the very
least, 135 yars old, well it ain't too bad, and it will get the job
done. $24.00

Sargent & Co 1884 Patent Tool Handle With 10 Bits.  Measuring 5 7/8"
long and this weighs 5 3/4 oz unboxed.  Granville W. Wright of New
Haven, CT was granted Pat. No. 303,478 on Aug. 12, 1884 for the design
of this tool which was made by Sargent & Co.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was lightly cleaned.  The plating has some spots of rust,
but most of it is present except on the one side of the chuck nut.  The
jaws have a little patina down inside, but the nut works.  The maple
handle has some stains and light scratches, but has almost all of the
original finish plus a coat of wax.  The threads on the cap are good.
This comes with the 10 original bits.  Those are all good othe than the
screw starter which is bent a little.  I gotta say, that finding one of
these in this kind of shape is sure getting hard to do.  $22.00
