There's a fun way to search by message.  Paste
https://swingley.dev/ot/get/######/single/ and replace the ###### with the
number of the message you're looking for.  That will bring that message up,
alone (hence the "single" in the link).

And if you want to search by thread, use this:
https://swingley.dev/ot/get/######/thread/####### replacing the ###### with
the number of the message you're looking for.  It'll open the message in
threaded form, with all the other messages from that thread on the page.

I don't know how that would work with the new groups.io archive, but it
does work with Chris's swingley.dev archive.
