Lie-Nielsen quit producing the no. 1. I can't find an example currently for
sale for less than yours is currently selling for.  In fact I only see one
other for sale at the moment.  There is obviously demand for the L-N no. 1
as you've shown. The supply is clearly very limited. So what will the
market determine the price to be?

On a related note, and of no surprise to some of you.. some of the earliest
rarest Lie-Nielsen tools have been getting very strong prices over the past
few years. I think this is due in good part to the fact that L-N never
intended these to be collector's items.
