Reason's to quit lurking.

Been here too long.  Way too long.
Stealth gray is a great cap color.
I have met several interesting Galoot's.  SW Airlines offered great
sale fares to Mancehseter NH and I intend to meet more of you this
weekend at Crane's.

I am a 55 yeaqr old who has been hobby woodworking since 1970.  SWMBO
encourages my activity as long as useful products occasionally emerge.
 She has an excellent eye for spotting tools in flea-markets. We live
in a small town south of Houston TX .  For almost 30 years, I
have applied my training as a chemical engineer in a real world job
with a major chemical company  on the Texas coast.

A casual interest in old tools has become a growing interest in hand
planes and scrapers.  This is my attempt to reduce the dust and noise
in my hobby.  Presently my workshop is showing signs of holding more
tools than I can explain a use for.  My interests are finally starting
to go beyond hand planes.  Lurking on this list has provided a wealth
of information that has enabled me to make good use of many of the
planes.

Any advice on Crane's and on to coastal Maine would be greatly
appreciated.
