Hello.

I have been lurking on this list for some time now, and as I have recently
gotten a new ISP and am now resubscribing, I thought it would be
appropriate to introduce myself so I can start to waste bandwidth and
clutter the list.

I am a new woodworker, with more ambition and motivation than time. I've
built several peices of furniture for the house, but as I buy more
equipment for the shop with each project, things go much more slowly than I
would want. For each project, I read books, this list, other internet
sources, magazines, videos, and finally decide what tool or gizmo would be
essential for a one man fine cabinet making shop. After much agonizing, I
purchase the item(s), or my loving wife buys it as a gift, and I spend a
long time afterwards honing/sharpening/adjusting/test-cutting etc. Finally
the object is set aside as I have shelved the project because something
more important has arisen. Also, my standards have gotten higher and higher
with each project, so that really slows things down...

The most recent distraction from my correspondence-course apprenticeship is
our new beautiful baby girl Sarah. Six weeks old and the cutest baby ever.
I'm not just saying that. She really is. I'll be posting some photos on
my soon TBA web site.

Another major distraction is the fact that I am an Anesthesiology Resident.
I'll be done training June 30th, 1997. After five years of college, four
years of medical school, a year internship, and three years residency, I'm
looking forward to practice. Anyone need an Anesthesiologist from a
top-notch training program, board eligible, ready to relocate? (I know
it's not flea market monday- sorry!)

I'll step back again and stay out of the way...
