The plot below is a wind rose plot which shows the direction and speed of the wind over the last 12 hours at our station. The area of each wind bar (in color), and the center circle (in white) is scaled to the proportion of those winds compared to the total. So a large center circle indicates calm conditions, and large colored bars in a particular direction indicates a lot of wind from that compass direction).
