Moshe, Welcome to the Porch! I am sure that you will find much of what you
are looking for right here. Now I can't think of a better situation than to
have a new Galoot-In-Training on the way, a wife that encourages you to buy
old tools and a supply of beautiful Olive Wood just out the back door.
Where did you find that woman? Some of our single members may want to know
if she has sisters or brothers at home of a similar disposition!

I am relatively new here, but I have found these folks to be helpful,
gracious and they will grease your slide down that slippery slope into old
tool heaven! If you already have had stitches then you have paid your blood
dues! There are probably not many folks here who couldn't tell you their
own stories about their accidental woundings.

Your Israeli viewpoint on old woodworking skills will give us another
perspective on our arts, crafts and obsessions. Our members outside the US
bring a much appreciated richness to our discussions. The Aussies alone
have changed my understanding of life, tools and wood Downunder!

Glad to have you here. Paul in Normal, Illinois-US
