Hello, everyone. Just a quick intro to let people know that a short
time (1 week) lurker is making himself know to the group at large. My
name's Brent and I've been working wood here in North Idaho for about a
year or so now, virtually all power tool work; though I'm now
interested (I think) in doing some more old-timey hand tool work -
which, is why I'm here.
History: My grandfather made his living as a carpenter/cabinet maker and
my dad worked as a trim carpenter for the last 15 years or so of his
career. Now, I guess, it's my turn to catch the bug...and pass it on to
my kids (1 boy, 1 girl) if they so desire. So far, it's the daughter
picking up the challenge.
I've got a whole bunch of questions, but those will wait 'til later.
Looking forward to 'meeting' all of you. Brent
