Well, seeing as how my knees are over 15 years past their expiration
date, walking on grass is about the only way that I can do the long haul
picking trips.  Walking on paved surfaces or even hard packed dirt, adds
a layer of pain and aggravation, especially with a heavy backpack full
of goodies.  I kept the weight down this trip to, at the most 30 lbs,
but still...
