Just done. This is Bodark wood also called Osage Orange. It is 
ridiculously tough and hard to work. Bodark famously sucks sand as it 
sucks water so its really hard on cutting edges.

Its almost yellow when first made and looks a little like aged boxwood!!
   But its really a dark brown wood and will become that in a few years.

The chisel was made from a file.
Its a crank neck paring chisel which means the chisel lays flat on the 
work with clearance for your hand. Its one of the "magic wands" of 
woodworking.

I have a surgery coming up in a week that will either fix me or kill me 
and I am good with that either way.
  I have been unable to walk and move the way I want to for almost 4 
years. Plugged arteries

Someone is finally going to try and fix that.
His name is David. He worked his way though medical school as a 
carpenter. Not just another rich boy, he earned it.
   I made this chisel for him (I bribe doctors) haahah
