"Flitz" metal polish is very popular with bicyclists, motorcyclists, and other
lovers of chrome plating.  I find it pricey but effective.

When I run out of Noxon, I'll switch to Brasso.

As I write this, I've wondering what would happen if I tried Green Chrome
buffing compound as metal polish.  ( With PPE, of course. ). Buffing compounds
can be purchased in economical large bars.
