Inks

There's a lot of fountain pen ink out there, and a lot of resources on the Internet describing the various colors and what folks think about them. Here are the inks I've tried, and my opinions.

The writing on the left of and the scribble was done with a fine nib, and the brand was written with a wider nib (except for the blue and burgundy). Samples were written on Clairfontaine Triomphe paper, mostly with Esterbrook J style fountain pens. The colors on my monitor are reasonably accurate, although I'd say that the Waterman purple is a bit more saturated, and slightly darker in real life. Obviously, what you see on your monitor may be different.
